孔子智慧与文明对话
不同文明的对话,在全球化时代,不但具有必要性,而且具有紧迫性。高科技的双刃剑,令人一则以喜,一则以忧。不同文明的渊源、本质、特征和传统存在差异,彼此产生磨擦、纷争以至冲突,在所难免。但不意味着必将导致大规模军事冲突和战争。对话已成为当今时代的潮流,世界人民的呼唤。
当今时代科学技术发达,人文精神欠缺,人们回头向轴心时代去寻找智慧,也就不足为奇。孔子思想博大精深,就文明对话而言,最具现实价值并带全局性的,是“和而不同”理念。它启迪人们承认、珍惜、保护文明的多样性。为使对话富有成效,还应倡导“仁者爱人”、“推己及人”、“言而有信”、“学而不厌”。这些既是儒家思想,中国其他诸家也有相关精辟论述,也可称之为中华智慧。
文明对话在其发展进程中,形成一定的文化,即对话文化。文明的对话呼唤对话的文明。不同文明对话不是为对话而对话,而是为了求得地球村的和平安宁,各个文明携手共进。在互联网时代,少数精英作为代表,仍然在不同文明对话中发挥主导作用,越来越多的网民也直接间接参与其中,并产生不容忽视的巨大影响。亿万民众的理性参与,需要并将推进孔子智慧之光“飞入寻常百姓家”。

鲁谆
1952年大连工学院(现大连理工大学)化工系毕业后,留校任政治经济学教研室助教、讲师、副教授,教研室主任。
1972年任辽宁日报编辑。
1978年任光明日报编辑、副主任,1982年4月起任光明日报副总编辑。1991年8月退休。
1991年5月任中华炎黄文化研究会第一届理事会理事,1993年任常务副秘书长;1998年任第二届理事会常务副会长兼秘书长;2006年任第三届理事会副会长;2011年任第四届理事会副会长至今。
参与编辑八卷本《炎黄汇典》、《费孝通论文化与文化自觉)。1998年起,参加二十一世纪中华文化世界沦坛发起会议和第一届至第六届学术研讨会,并发表论文<文化自觉与中华民族的复兴》、《文化自觉与中华文化的当代价值>(合作)、《二重证据法与炎黄研究》等论文十余篇。

ConfuciusWisdomandDialogueamongCivilizations

Inaneraofglobalization,thedialogueamongcivilizationsisnotonlynecessary,butalsourgent.Thehigh-techdouble-edgedswordmakespeoplehappyandsadatthesametime.Differentorigins,nature,characteristicsandtraditionofdifferentcivilizationscreatefriction,disputesandclashes.Itisinevitable,however,itdoesnotnecessarilyleadtoalarge-scalemilitaryconflictandwar.Dialoguehasbecomethetrendoftheera,thevoiceofthepeopleallovertheworld.
Today'seraisinabundantsupplyofadvancedscienceandtechnology,butinshortsupplyofhumanspirit.Notsurprisingly,peoplearelookingbacktotheAxialAgeforwisdom.Confucianthoughtisbroadandprofound.
Regardingthedialoguebetweencivilizations,itsmostrealisticvalueandholisticpartistheideaof'harmonyindiversity',whichenlightenspeopletoacknowledge,cherishandpreservethediversityofcivilizations.Inordertomakethedialoguefruitful,weshouldalsoadvocatetheideasof"Thebenevolentlovesothers","Putoneselfintheplaceofanother","Keepitspromise",and"Beinsatiableinleaming".TheseConfucianideas,alsoexpoundedbyotherChineseschoolsofthought,couldbetakentogetherasChinesewisdom.
Dialogueamongcivilizationsinitscourseofdevelopmenthasestablishedacertainculture,thatis,thecultureofdialogue.Civilizeddialoguecallsforadialogueofcivilizations.Thepurposeofdialogueamongcivilizationsisnotforitsownsake,butforseekingthepeaceandtranquilityoftheglobalvillage,andforseekingafuturewhencivilizationscouldworkwitheachother.IntheInternetera,despitethefactthatdialogueamongcivilizationsisstillmarkedbythedominantroleofafewelites,anincreasingnumberofInternetusersis,directlyorindirectly,
participatinginthediscourse,generatingatremendousimpacttobereckonedwith.TherationalparticipationofhundredsofmillionsneedsthelightofConfuciuswisdom,whichinturnwillpromoteits"flyingintoordinaryhouseholds."
