大爱无疆——论史诗《罗摩衍那》的时空超越印度史诗《罗摩衍那》不仅在印度，而且在东南亚，在亚洲都是流传最广、最久远、影响最大的文学作品之一。它超越了国界，超越了民族，超越了宗教信仰，超越了时空，使亚洲国家不同宗教、不同文字和不同文化传统的一代又一代人陶醉和着迷。

由此引发一个值得深思的问题：《罗摩衍那》两千年多来何以一直流传不休，传讲不衰？这部史诗何以如此广泛地被亚洲甚至被世界不同宗教和文化背景的人们所接受？
本文以东南亚地区最有代表性的两部((罗摩衍那》文本——印度尼西亚的《格卡温罗摩衍那》(RamayamaKekawin)和马来西亚的《罗摩圣传》(HikayatSriRama)为例，分析《罗摩衍那》中所蕴含的道德结构、全民性道德因素及其道德思想的基础和核心——仁爱。并试图探讨其核心价值对未来人类社会发展的意义。

ItmaybejustifiablystatedthatalmosteveryindividualamongtheinhabitantsoftheSouthandtheSoutheastAsiaregionisawareoftheRamayanatraditioninsomemeasureorother.TheRamastorypervadestheculturallifeoftheregioninoneformoranotheratalltimes.Everyoneofwhateverage,outlook,educationorstationinlifeknowstheessentialpartoftheRamastoryandyetlovestolistentoitsnarration,orseethecharactersinactionagain.Theoneoftheimportantreasonsforitsgreatpopularity,notonlyamongtheHindus,butalsotheBuddhistsandtheIslamistheuniversalethicalvalueswhichRamayanatraditionacquiredinthecourseoftime.
Inthisarticletheauthoristryingtodiscusstheethicalstructure,universalethicalelementsandfoundationofthemoralteachingwhichisimpliedintheRamayana,bytakingRamayanaKekawin(Javaneseversion)andHikayatSriRama(MalayVersion)asanexample.
