王震中

1957年出生于陕西省榆林市。现任中国社会科学院历史研究所副所长、研究员、研究生院历史系主任，兼任中华炎黄文化研究会副会长。

1982年毕业于西北大学历史系考古专业，1985年获中国社会科学院研究生院硕士学位，1992年获博士学位。1995年至2000年期间在日本关系外国语大学、东京大学东洋文化研究所等做博士后研究和访问学者共计三年多。出版《中国文明起源的比较研究》、《中国古代文明的探索》、《中国古代文明与国家形成研究》、《商代都邑》、《商族起源与先商社会变迁》等多部著作.

《炎黄文化研究》与文化走出去战略《炎黄文化研究》是中华炎黄文化研究会与陕西黄帝陵基金会和湖南炎帝陵基金会共同主办的一个综合性学术文化丛刊。“炎黄文化”这一概念可分为广义与狭义两个层面，狭义的炎黄文化指的是传说中的炎黄时代所创造的文化，而广义的炎黄文化不但包括炎黄二帝及其时代所创造的文化，也包括炎黄子孙所创造的文化。广义的炎黄文化实际上与中华传统文化具有同一性。《炎黄文化研究》的办刊宗旨，就是取广义的炎黄文化概念，对中华传统文化进行研究和弘扬。

全球化呼唤文明之间的对话，需要我们的文化走出去。在文化走出去战略中，《炎黄文化研究》大有可为。我们研究、弘扬炎黄文化也即弘扬中国优秀的传统文化，对于海外华人而言，它有民族凝聚力的作用；而对于西方文化而言，它有文化交流、对话、借鉴的作用；也有共同繁荣、共同为人类文明添砖加瓦的功能和作用。

在文化走出去和文化认同中，我们可以用两面镜子反省和反观现实中某些丑陋的现象，使现实文化得到净化和升华。这两面镜子，一面是中华优秀的传统文化，一面是西方现代文明行为所折现出的包括中华传统文化在内的人类文明精神。从而使研究与现实相结合；海内与海外相结合；弘扬与传播相结合，为人类文明做出自己的贡献。
