费孝通：文化自觉与跨文化对话

为更好地反思与审视新形势下国际上不同文化之间的关系问题，并真正走出西方／东方绝对论怪圈的影响，费孝通教授提出了著名的“文化自觉”问题。

作为一种跨文化的理论新视野，“文化自觉”理论否认文化之间像国界之间存在明显界限或难以跨越的鸿沟；相反，不同的文化之间均存在文化场，文化中心向四周扩散时形成许多重叠，这也为跨文化对话提供了理论解释。

要想真正实现文化的平等对话，要通过双向性的文化自觉，既能够认识到自己民族文化的价值，又能够认识到其他民族文化的合理性，从而以宽容的态度对待双方不同的价值观，最终在跨文化理解，交流与对话中逐步认同于相同的价值观，即从“自美其美”；“美人之美”，最终做到“美美与共”、“天下大同”。
